Usually, we can benchmark against listed companies since their annual reports are public and quite detailed.
For non-listed companies in Thailand, you can also check the short version of financial statements on the DBD website.
But — a word of caution — non-listed companies can sometimes play with the numbers a bit. It’s not always as transparent as listed ones.
If they’re subsidiaries of listed companies, though, that’s usually more reliable — because those financials must align with their parent company’s reporting.
So yes, we can find peers and compare margins, trends, etc.
Just keep in mind: companies still differ in size, funding structure, and strategy, so no two are exactly the same.
